My interest in photography goes back over forty five years. However, it wasn’t until the advent of digital photography that I was able to combine this hobby with my passion for wildlife.
I hope that by showcasing the natural beauty of Guernsey through my photography, there will be a greater appreciation of its biodiversity and the urgent need to protect local wildlife and their habitats.
I have specialised in bird photography for many years, but have now been ‘bitten’ by the macro photography bug!
Having worked my way through various DSLRs and lens combinations over the years, I switched to the mirrorless format of cameras in 2012. The aim was to reduce the size and weight of kit that I needed to carry without losing any quality.
